Momentum, Milestones, and a Month of Joy

As we stride forward into a new month, I'm thrilled to bring you exciting updates from the Galilee Culinary Institute (GCI) journey. Despite the challenges around us, the momentum and positivity within our community continue to propel us toward our vision.

This month, we've been diligently refining our plans for GCI, taking into account the dynamic situation here in Israel. The adjustments in our strategy haven't slowed us down; in fact, they've invigorated our approach. We're delighted to share that our first cohort is filling up with remarkable applicants. The GCI family is growing, and we're thrilled to welcome these culinary leaders into our community.

Meetings with top culinary influencers and PR companies have been both inspiring and strategic. As we inch closer to our start date, we're gearing up to share more about GCI with the culinary world. The positive response we've received is a testament to the impact we're poised to make in the culinary sphere.

With the opening on the horizon, fundraising has become a key focus. Your support is more critical than ever, and we're deeply grateful for the encouragement we've received so far. Every contribution brings us closer to realizing the dream of GCI.

Key team positions are taking shape, fostering a positive vibe that resonates with our overall momentum. The farm plans are coming together, blending traditional growing, sustainability, and technology. Kashrut considerations are being fine-tuned, and our team is navigating these changes with expertise and dedication.

In the spirit of joy, we celebrate two wonderful milestones within our GCI family. Congratulations to Keren, our social media lead, on the arrival of her beautiful baby girl, Mazel Tov! We're also delighted to share that Dovi has been released from active duty. Welcome back, Dovi — we're overjoyed to have you safe and sound.

Entering the Hebrew month of Adar for the second time is a truly special occasion. It brings with it the joy of Purim, I get to celebrate my Sons’ birthday, my own birthday, as well as our anniversary (an amazing nine years going strong, thank you Yehudis). It’s an extremely special month for me.

As we step into this month of joy (again and hopefully much more), our collective wish is for complete victory and positive end with the ongoining war. May we only share good news and uplifting times together. Your support, enthusiasm, and shared joy are the pillars that keep GCI moving forward.

Wishing you an exceptionally joyful month.

L'chaim!
