Breaking Through: Progress Amidst Challenges

As we transition from a month of joy to a month of liberation, I'm excited to share the latest updates from the Galilee Culinary Institute by Jewish National Fund USA (GCI). Despite the ongoing challenges, our spirit of resilience and determination continues to drive us forward towards our vision of culinary excellence.

As the holiday of Passover approaches, the theme of breaking through limitations resonates deeply with us. Just as our ancestors broke free from bondage, we too are determined to break through any obstacles that stand in our way. With unwavering resolve, we press on, fueled by our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Even as missiles are launched, our construction efforts remain steadfast. We've made significant progress on our main building and have begun construction on the second building. Despite the turmoil around us, our team continues to work tirelessly to bring our vision to life.

In the face of uncertainty, we've expanded our efforts. We've accepted additional students, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing the next generation of culinary leaders. Partners have visited our site, witnessing firsthand the progress we've made despite the challenging circumstances.

Our mission of activism is alive and well. One of our students has been actively involved in the community, embodying the values of GCI. We're proud to see our students not only excel in their studies but also make a positive impact in the world around them.

On the tourism front, we're solidifying relationships and planning for the future. Collaborations with Tel Hai on programming and meetings with various companies are in full swing. We're also gearing up to hire key team members in the near future, ensuring that our team is equipped to tackle any challenges that come our way.

With Dovi back and our team gearing up for busy days ahead, we're ready to face whatever the future holds. While we may not know what lies ahead with regards to the ongoing conflict, one thing is certain – we will continue to push forward with resilience and determination.

As we celebrate the holidays, let us take inspiration from the spirit of Passover and strive to break through any limitations that hold us back. May this holiday season be a time of renewal, resilience, and hope for a brighter future.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season.

L’chaim!
