Meet Steve Dabrow,

new GCI by JNF Chairman

As President of Jewish National Fund-USA’s Eastern PA board and a member of several national committees, Steve Dabrow knows firsthand that when our organization commits to a vision, it brings it to life. That lesson was instilled in him by his father, the late Alan Dabro, and his wife Louise—both deeply engaged with Jewish National Fund-USA for decades.

Steve also brings strong culinary roots, serving as Chairman and CEO of his family’s business, Chelten House, a manufacturer and distributor of premium food products nationwide. So, when the call came to serve as Chairman of GCI by JNF, Steve didn’t hesitate.

“I knew right away that the Galilee Culinary Institute by JNF will have a tremendous impact on northern Israel and if I could add my skills to the talented and passionate existing team, we would have a chance to deliver on our vision,” said Steve. “It is decidedly not a project; it is a vision to reimagine northern Israel and realize our objectives of population and economic growth in the most beautiful part of Israel. This will be not only a world class culinary school but a place where visitors, students, and chefs alike will experience Israel through its most universal language: food. I couldn’t be more excited!”
