A smorgasbord of other news

Campus Opening: With our main building nearly complete, we’re preparing to host small groups. First up: our Coming Home mission, September 4–11. Register now! Additional events for press, locals, and other special groups will follow—stay tuned.

IDF Culinary Bonding: At our high-tech informal education facility in the Israel Envelope, we built a small GCI by JNF kitchen. However, it’s more than just a kitchen. This small but powerful space has become a sanctuary for Israel Defense Forces soldiers and their spouses—a place not just to cook, but to begin the journey back to civilian life after months of service, some serving 200–300 days straight! Through hands-on culinary sessions, they reconnect with everyday life, with their families, and with themselves. They’re not just learning recipes; they’re rebuilding rhythms, finding peace, and healing from trauma, including PTSD.

This therapeutic culinary experience is part of our broader vision to support mental health through practical, dignified tools. But these services don’t come without cost.

That’s where you come in.

• A $25,000 gift covers a full day of this program for one army unit.

• A $50,000 scholarship provides a discharged soldier with full tuition to attend our culinary school—transforming their healing into a career.

• Or contribute to our scholarship fund and support more of these life-changing stories.

Let’s help more soldiers rediscover life through food, connection, and community. To give, visit jnf.org/donategci or call 800.JNF.0099

Together, we’re not just feeding bodies—we’re nourishing souls.
